Unidentified – probably Buckinghamshire

The location of these painting is unidentified, but probably Buckinghamshire.  Any help with identifying will be welcomed.

“Dem” 1938
Inscribed “Looking up to Buckingham???”

[unknown church]

This painting has no caption, but is clearly what was then a Taylor & Walker pub.  The painting was found amongst the paintings of convalescing soldiers.  This may be coincidence but it might give a clue about where the convalescing soldiers were being cared for.

This sketch was on the back of the painting of convalescing soldier C Smith.  Again, it might provide a clue about the location.
