Would you be able to tell me where this painting is and is it possible to see it? Appreciate it’s a bit of a random question but my great grandad , grandad and dad farmed Mill Farm at Alconbury from early 1900s to dads retirement.
I can remember dad showing me the mound, or rather what remained after years of farm work, where the mill stood but obviously all evidence of it had gone.
I have seen a couple of photographs years ago of the mill before it disappeared and I think that a cart just visible in one was converted so it could be pulled by a tractor, it certainly looks like the one I learnt to reverse on.
